As a veteran teacher, Mary Duncan finds greatest fulfillment
in seeing children reach their learning potiential.
Duncan's career includes two Teacher of the
Year awards in Oklahoma where she served for fifteen years.
In 2002, she moved to Georgia where, she joined the faculty
of Fort Daniel Elementary School.
A year later, she joined the charter faculty
of Duncan Creek Elementary.
Duncan holds a BS degree in Elementary Education
and a Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning
She is certified in the areas of elementary and
early childhood education. She is also
certified to work with special education students.
Mrs. Duncan is married to Dr. Jon Duncan
who serves with the Georgia Baptist Convention.
The Duncans have two daughters,
who have families of their own.
Hobbies include reading, sewing, scrapbooking, and gardening.
A cancer survivor, Mrs. Duncan spends time raising suppport
and awareness for the Susan G. Koman Foundation.
